(Player notes for a game of Rumble, played on Slack in March, 2020. Round details added in by TyGuy6. Game Summary at the End.)

Improvised Contraption: Discard a Gadget: gain a random Gadget from the database of the same type (Flaw, Passive and Active are the Gadget types).

Itasha: When another Driver targets you in any way they take 5 damage per each alive Driver. This damage can only be blocked by effects that can explicitly block cringe and/or shame.

Keep Your Eyes On The Road: Bid results are shown to only you; other players are only notified of what they won. During combat, only the speed amounts of all Racers will be public; you will recieve a normal Round summary as usual.

Lucky Grapplehook: Spend X, up to once per round: grapple another Racer who has a Speed of X more or less than your own. You gain any Speed they lose this round.

Machiavellian Henchman, Plotting: Sidekick. The MHP has 1 Speed. If the MHP is targeted for an attack or gadget by any Racer then that Racer cannot target any other Racer with an attack or gadget that round. The MHP does 10 unblockable Speed damage to the Racer with the most Speed, unless it is the Racer who owns the MHP, in which case he gives that Racer 10 Speed.

Oil Slick: Burn 5 and choose a slower Racer: If that Racer chose you as the target of any Attacks or Gadgets this round, they have no effect on you.

Painted Tracks: Spend 10: Racers who would lose this round instead have their Speed set to 9.

Sarcastic Race Computer: Sidekick. The SRC has 20 Speed and cannot be targeted by other Racers' Attacks. When the SRC and the Racer to whom it belongs attack the same rival Racer, that Racer takes an additional 10 unblockable damage.

Sentient Item Box: Sentient Item Box is a sidekick with 35 Speed. At the start of every round, it loses any Gadgets it has, and gains one random Gadget from the archive in private.

Substitute Driver: [When bidding for this, choose another Driver.] You aren’t on the racetrack until that Driver is defeated (you aren’t “in play”. You can’t do anything or be affected by anything else as if you weren’t a Driver yet). You lose if you never enter the racetrack.

Tunnel Paint: Spend 20 and choose a Racer who has no Gadgets: Set that Racer's Speed to zero.

Two-seater Cart: Once per game, choose another Racer: At the end of the round, your Speeds are both increased or decreased to the midpoint between them, rounded up. (This is not damage.) From then on, if one of you wins, you both win.

Jumble Tunnel Paints the SRC, which crashes it into a wall, discards Tunnel Paint via IC, and blocks for 68.

Jumble got "Cosmic Beam: Spend 10, once per round: Beam does 10 Points of damage to a single target for each Hero racer in play." (Damage ruled as blockable.)

Kevan attacks the SIB for 20, defends for 76

Jumble: 45 (+0)

Sentient Item Box: 25 (+0)

The Sarcastic Race Computer: 0 (+0)

The Machiavellian Henchman: 0 (-1)

TyGuy6: 9 to grapple Jumble, the rest (45) to Attack Jumble.

(TyGuy6 note: I seriously considered revealing everything, and trusting card/Kevan to help, but it seems unlikely they'd trust me enough to coordinate a near-full attack, what with my healing so easily profiting from it. Suddenly, I have only the blind hope that card chooses this moment to strike... And meanwhile, if I reveal my role, I become the target for an attack... I have no hope to collaborate, seeing how my healing goes nuts if people collaborate with me.)

Jumble activated the Ethereal Form (22), used the Beam on the SIB (10), and defended for 13.

Card defended for 40 and attacked Jumble for 29

SIB attacked TyGuy6 for 25

Kevan attacked Card for 10 and defended for 66.

card attacks Kevan for 30 and defends for 39;

SIB attacks Kevan for 10 and defends for 40. Perfect blocking by Kevan, nearly perfect by card

Kevan does the same (card 36 defend 40);

Card attacks TyGuy6 with all 69,

box defends for 53.

Lap 7:

Kevan Oil Slicked TyGuy6 for 5 and attacked him for 71; with a close reading of the rules, OS doesn't prevent either Itasha or the Grappling hook.

TyGuy6: 43 Attack SIB, 45 Defend.

Kevan defended for 56,

CB's Scribble Zone

CB's scribble area:

Kevan: 96

Card: 69

Jumble: 68

TyGuy: 44 Lucky Hook (healed)

Cuddlebeam:? Replacement Driver (obv)

TyGuy6

Kevan took 10 from Henchman, didn't destroy it. Hence, he doesn't have Henchman or Itasha.

Box took 10. Hence, owner of Box probably didn't have Computer.

Jumble took 10 before the lap 1 correction. Probably he took unblockable damage? Hence, not Computer owner?

I, TyGuy6, claim I have Itasha. Nobody else does. As a valuable deterrent, it cost me a lot, and I did spend a lot. If someone else had it, why would they not say so? Jumble, card and Cbeam denied having it. Kevan can't have had it. So by deduction, I have Itasha.

Kevan

Responding to "If someone else had it, why would they not say so?" - Cuddlebeam would have no reason to announce Itasha, from off the track. If they're Substituting for someone other than TyGuy, it's in their interests to have people be scared of TyGuy and not attack them yet.

Game Summary

Jumble used Tunnel Paint on the 20-HP Sarcastic Race Computer, and everyone except card breaths easier. (Also TyGuy6 grappled it.)

Kevan bumps off Machiavellian Henchman, so he can maintain his numerical lead in peace. (TyGuy6 later regrets not saving it via Tracks!)

Jumble gets wrecked by card and TyGuy6 while powering up his INVULNERABILITY SHIELD. (TyGuy6 grappled him.) Meanwhile, card's Box sidekick somehow doubled its Speed instead of dying to Itasha recoil plus Jumble's Cosmic Beam!

The three remaining players then have a standoff, while card and Kevan will only attack each other for half, and TyGuy6 tries half vs the Box. But soon, TyGuy6 bumps off card while card retaliates, but TyGuy6 grapples to gain it right back.

Kevan and card#Box team up somewhat, but Oil Slick fails to negate the effects of Itasha and/or Grapplehook, so their attack backfires.

Everyone turtles a bit until TyGuy6 swings hard at Box, then finishes everyone off. Cuddlebeam joins in to latch onto TyGuy6 for a tied victory.
