A Summit is an event held between Dynasties with the ultimate goal of improving the game as a whole. It uses a more relaxed set of rules than that of BlogNomic proper. During a Summit, participants should suggest modifications to the main Ruleset or to the rules of Summits.

Rules
Eligibility to Participate
Any human who is eligible to participate in BlogNomic is eligible to participate in a Summit.
Leadership
A Summit is not a BlogNomic Dynasty. It has no Emperor and no winner. Admins of BlogNomic are also Admins for Summits.
Motions
Participants may propose a motion at any time during a Summit by posting to the BlogNomic blog in the Proposals category. A motion should do exactly one of the following:
- Specify a change or changes to the Core Rules, Special Cases or the Appendix of the Ruleset for BlogNomic
- Specify a change or changes to the rules of a Summit
- Request that the Summit be brought to a close
Participants can vote on motions in the ways described by "Votable Matters" in the rules for BlogNomic. Votes of DEFERENTIAL or VETO have no effect. There is no Quorum.
Tags
The title of a motion must contain the appropriate tag/s. A tag is the string "[X]", where "X" is replaced by:
- "Core", "Special Case" or "Appendix" if the motion specifies a change to the Core Rules, Special Cases or Appendix of the Ruleset for BlogNomic, respectively
- "Summit" if the motion specifies a change to the rules for Summits
- "Closure" if the motion requests that the Summit be brought to a premature close
Resolving Motions
There is no requirement for motions to be resolved in the order they were proposed. Admins should use common sense when resolving motions out of order.
A motion passes and can be enacted by an Admin if any of the following are true:
- It has been at least twenty-four hours and all votes on that motion are FOR
- It has been at least forty-eight hours and a majority of votes on that motion are FOR
A motion fails and can be marked as such by an Admin if any of the following are true:
- The participant who proposed the motion has voted AGAINST it
- It has been at least twenty-four hours and all other votes on that motion are AGAINST
- It has been at least forty-eight hours and it has not passed
A motion is enacted by making the changes specified or by closing the Summit, depending on the content of the motion.
Duration
A Summit will last for one week (plus however long it takes to reach 12:00 UTC that day) or until all motions have been resolved, whichever is later. Motions may not be proposed during the last 24 hours of a Summit.
If a motion passes which brings the Summit to a premature close, no further motions may be proposed, and the Summit will continue until all motions have been resolved.
Fair Play
A Summit will be held under all relevant Fair Play provisions.
