This list is slightly out of order, in order to emphasise the main threads of gameplay rather than just chronological order; top-level bullet points are in order, second-level bullet points may be out of sequence relative to the top-level points, though -- CallForJudgement 18:31, 4 May 2010 (GMT)
- http://blognomic.com/archive/back_to_the_basics_again/ - Introduced Points, one major mechanic used throughout the whole dynasty, and awarded and revoked them based on the success of proposals. (The rule was a near-copy of one of BlogNomic's first rules.)
- http://blognomic.com/archive/theme_proposal_points/ - A theme suggestion by arthexis, which captured many other player's thoughts on the way the dynasty should go. It ended up going along much the same lines that are set out in the post.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/smashing_other_nomics_rulesets_to_pieces/ - A second major mechanic of the dynasty, which allowed rules to be stolen at random from other nomics. This rule eventually ended up indirectly providing many of the dynasty's subthemes.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/on_transfers_and_fees/ - Made Points tradeable, thus leading to a cooperative and team-based style of play.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/same_issue_as_round_one/ - clamped down on Points rewards coming from minor fix proposals; the rule would later be abused substantially for players to avoid Point penalties for unpopular theft proposals.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/theft_a_non_so_paranoid_rule/ - the first successful rule theft, which was from Paranomic XP. Mostly did nothing that wasn't obvious anyway, but the title of the new rule - "Rule Changes are Secured (Blue)" - became relevant later.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/i_have_finally_won_again/ - a failed attempt by Darth to win based on a rule from a previous dynasty, spawning:
- http://blognomic.com/archive/mistake_on_my_part/ - a CfJ to end the DoV early to get on with gameplay again;
- http://blognomic.com/archive/ban_darth_cliche/ - a failed attempt by arthexis to ban Darth Cliche as a result;
- and later http://blognomic.com/archive/because_arth_hasnt/ - a rule designed to prevent frivolous DoVs holding up voting on proposals.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/this_proposal_has_been_brought_to_you_by_arthexis/ - arthexis continues to work on the subtheme of unusual sorts of rules and proposals
- http://blognomic.com/archive/your_title_has_been_chosen/ - created a use for DEFERENTIAL votes (which normally have no purpose in a metadynasty)
- http://blognomic.com/archive/theft_who_is_jeffsheets_and_why_is_he_in_my_house/ - "The Speaker for the first game shall be JeffSheets", later followed by:
- http://blognomic.com/archive/changing_my_name/ - Josh becomes JeffSheets; and
- http://blognomic.com/archive/declaration_of_victory21/ - JeffSheets attempts to use the rule in question to retroactively win Round One. It fails, partly because the rules in question were no longer in force, partly because the rule JeffSheets was attempting to exploit was actually from Round Two, and partly because technically speaking we were in the second game at the time (due to the Switch), rather than the first.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/to_avoid_getting_into_real-world_legal_trouble_trivial/ - JeffSheets was finally made to change their name back to Josh.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/theft_elections_0_points/ - A rule from an unspecified other nomic makes the Leader an elected position, rather than based on points; unfortunately, the length of time between elections is measured in the undefined unit "rounds".
- http://blognomic.com/archive/theft_civ3_democracy_isnt_quite_a_nomic/ - "There will be seven human-controlled teams involved"; a randomly stolen prophecy that turned out not only to be true, but to introduce a third major mechanic to the dynasty.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/enhanced_teams/ - Defining just what those seven teams were (they ended up named after colours of the rainbow).
- http://blognomic.com/archive/proposals_that_make_other_proposals/ - A mechanic whereby proposals could create copies of themselves, although only one viral proposal ever really caught on, and ended up being proposed again and again and again.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/some_random_units_of_measurement_trivial/ - A whole bunch of random definitions, designed to give fun new meanings to random words stolen from other nomics.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/team_rules/ - Allowed teams to own rules; Team Blue got the rule originally stolen from Paranomic XP, most other rules became colourless, and teams owned rules created by their own players by default from then on. Team members could veto changes to their team's rules.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/speak_for_england_jeffsheets/ - Redefines a Speaker of a dynasty to someone with the job of updating its dynastic history. (And I, ais523, am busy speakering this dynasty right now months later, in honour of the rule.)
- http://blognomic.com/archive/blognomic_tv/ - Kevan dramatises JeffSheet's DoV with the help of an online text-to-animation tool.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/preventing_infinite_point_scams/ - A tight limit on the number of points that can be gained in a day. Although uncontroversial at first, many players thought the limit was too low, spawning a rather unfortunate running argument:
- http://blognomic.com/archive/maximum_effect/ - A proposal to stop players copying Excalabur's spammy scam (explained later), by giving everyone else the award they would get if they did the spammy scam, without actually having to spam. Although it was easily passing, some players CoVed on the proposal to slow down the queue and prevent it passing before Greater than Maximum Effect, at which point it started technically failing and arthexis failed it.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/greater_than_maximum_effecttrivial/ - An almost unanimous proposal to increase the points limit, which is unexpectedly vetoed by arthexis;
- http://blognomic.com/archive/telling_arthexis_to_shove_a_brick_up_his_nose_trivial/ - A second attempt to increase the points limit, designed in such a way that it couldn't be vetoed by arthexis (although arthexis tried to veto it anyway). A rider fining arthexis for previous behaviour passed at the same time.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/building_a_better_halfbrick/ - Another attempt to disable the speed limit rule, which also passed but was redundant.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/third_strike_trivial/ - The creation of a new rule barring arthexis from vetoing proposals, for any reason. The rule actually outlasted the metadynasty itself and persisted into the next one, although nothing would have made it possible for arthexis to veto proposals in that dynasty anyway.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/abort_abort/ - Allowed obviously unworthy Theft proposals to avoid spamming the blog.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/i_nominate_everyone_else/ - The end of a scam by Excalabur where he earned a lot of points by attempting to nominate everyone at once for an election, creating a huge number of posts in the process.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/team_proposals_and_other_goodies/ - More Team gameplay mechanics.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/putting_teams_to_good_use_with_extra_protection/ - Creating subgames, a mechanic that isn't really used much.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/buying_voteos/ - Excalibur finally introduces a mechanic whereby votes can be bought, on his fourth try (he's been trying all dynasty).
- http://blognomic.com/archive/you_wouldnt_steal_a_car_trivial/ - Eventually closing the loophole where Theft proposals can also be marked Trivial.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/glossary_reform/ - A major overhaul of the (core rules) Glossary.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/vetoes_shouldnt_be_a_reward_for_the_vetoed/ - Changing the rules from the "fast veto" to the "slow veto", a change that has persisted for several dynasties so far, despite controversy (and even an FAQ entry).
- http://blognomic.com/archive/why_we_hate_team_indigo/ - Introduced Team Politics, mechanics whereby teams were Friendly, Neutral, or Unfriendly to each other. This was a major part of the eventual victory.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/gamekeeper/ - Made it actually possible to initiate Games, although the mechanic still wasn't used much.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/soylent_orange/ and http://blognomic.com/archive/red_rover_red_rover/ - Created the mechanics via which players could cause other players to change teams, the basic mechanic behind the eventual victory.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/for_world_domination/ - The victory condition; the highest-scoring player on a team wins after emptying the four other non-Friendly teams.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/friendly_acquisition/ - Another way for players to be shuffled around between teams.
- http://blognomic.com/archive/team_merger_red_into_orange/ - The move that made Bucky win...
- http://blognomic.com/archive/team_swap_frenzy/ - ...and the DoV. There was some controversy around the timing of events, but it turned out not to matter.
Ascension
Towards the end of the dynasty, players started migrating to the Yellow and Orange teams. Eventually, Bucky was able to kidnap the last player (Qwazukee) who wasn't on either team and win.

- Bucky and Kevan seem to be the high-points competitors ATM. Oze 18:35, 28 Oct 2009 (GMT)
- Bucky won in the end due to me messing up. I was planning to tempt him to spend a lot of points on actions that would make him win, whilst undoing them myself, but unfortunately he was faster and won outright. Sorry! --CallForJudgement 18:32, 4 May 2010 (GMT)
