Ascension Address
A strange Grove has appeared within Funtalia Forest, with shimmering crystalline structures sprouting from the grass within. After several experiments, most of which involved singing songs around the things or thwacking them with sticks, it has been revealed that the Crystals are useful for just about any task a Gnome can imagine doing. Unfortunately, no new Crystals have grown from the ground once the first few were plucked, and the supply is beginning to dwindle. His Gnomeliness has ordered the Gnomemander in Chief to issue a new decree, to slow the loss of any remaining Crystals: “The holder of the final Crystal shall be crowned as the new Gnomenipotent Ruler.”
Repeal all dynastic rules. Rename the Prospect Survey Corps to The Gnomenipotent Ruler, and rename Mining Conglomerates to Gnomes. Deactivate all Building Blocks, then activate the following Building Blocks: No Private Communication, Reinitialisation, and Precondition Unidling. Set the gamestate tracking page to “The Forest”. My Imperial Styles are as follows: Onlooker, Laissez-faire, Casual, Scam-Neutral, Oblivious, and Instinctual.
Gameplay
Players vote for a temporary Grand Poobah, who must then distribute a number of Crystals to the group, omitting themselves. Crystals may be spent to take adversarial and protective actions within the game, the availability of which depend upon slowly growing Fairy Rings. The last player to be holding a Crystal wins.

Core Amendments
- Vote Protection (ais523) said that CfJ voting could never be overruled dynastically, after a dynastic rule almost broke the Nomic by redefining the term "vote"
- Legalized Voting (JonathanDark) added verb and noun definitions for "vote" as explicitly referring to core
- Not in a core rule scammy move, even if it would be fun (Clucky) gave communal actions the same repeat limits as non-communal ones
- Rements of a past Nomic (Clucky) removed the 72-hour timeout before making a second DoV after a failed one
Ascension
The first DoV was Sing the Grove Electric by Chiiika, who unidled and triggered the transfer of the last 3 Crystals from the Grove to her. She mistakenly thought the victory criteria was being the Gnome who received the final crystal from the Grove, but since this was not the criteria, her DoV was Unpopular and failed.
The second DoV was The Last Crystal by ais523, who attempted a scam by first adding themselves as the Owner for the Faerie Circle type Styling, then strategically placing the embedded 💎 (as required by the rules for becoming an Owner of a Circle type) such that the Effect for Styling would appear to allow the Gnome who activated it to set each affected Gnome's 💎 value to a legal value, 0 being a legal value for Crystals. This was determined to fail because of the rule text that explicitly stated that a 💎 in the ruleset meant it was an embedded Crystal, and not that it was a publicly-tracked Gnome's Crystal, which was seen as a separate gamestate variable. The DoV was Unpopular and failed.
The third DoV was There Can Be Only One Crystal by JonathanDark. The last two Gnomes with 1 Crystal each were JonathanDark and Ysker, but neither had enough Fragments to attack the other and still meet the criteria for achieving victory. JonathanDark made a plea for other Gnomes to play kingmaker in Lawnomos and Chiiika - The Kingmakers? in which JonathanDark pitched his idea for the next dynasty and Ysker commented with two ideas. After several other Proposals to break the tie in other ways failed to gain any traction, Lawnomos made the decision to attack Ysker and leave JonathanDark with the last Crystal.
