Ascension
After the player count dropped to the brink of dormancy, the remaining players decided to put a structured roll-off into place, with players taking it in turns to dig a shaft based on the Minerals attained in regular play. Josh unidled to participate in the chop. In the run-up to the chop he noticed that some of the enabling proposals had been administered illegally and sat on the knowledge for 24 hours so that he could boost one of his materials to give himself an edge in the resolution of the mechanic. The edge proved decisive as, thanks to Ysker who determined that they could not win, he had just enough Mineral on his turn to push the mine the point at which he could attain and declare Victory.
